Educational program

At Barnside farms we believe in education and teaching an understanding of how things work. Over the last few years we have had several classes come out to see what we do and how composting works. If you are a teacher, educator, scout leader or involved in any youth organizations we invite you to contact us, and learn more about bringing kids to our facility to learn more about mulch, topsoil and composting.

We do accept groups for educational purposes by appointment only, and there is no fee what so ever to come out and see our facility. Normally we can accommodate almost any size group and are always more than willing to help educate children about how nature works. Please note that there are no bathrooms on location! If you would like to have the kids plant on site, then each child will need to bring their own planting equipment.
